The tombs of the Venizelos is one of the most popular attractions of Chania. Located on the hill of Profiti Hlias, this wonderful protected park offers panoramic views of the city of Chania and the White Mountains. There lays the tomb of Eleftherios Venizelos, one of the most long-standing prime ministers of Greece and of his son Sophocles Venizelos.

The Monastery of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity), or Tzagarolon Monastery as it is also known, is one of the most impressive monasteries one will see in Crete. Visitors will see an incredibly well-preserved and vibrant monastery that hosts a small museum and produces and exports organic olive oil, wine, honey, vinegar and olive oil soap of unique quality.
